Porcelain tableware firing furnaces are manufactured in the following types, depending on production capacity:

• Car-bottom (wagon-type) furnace
• Tunnel furnace (car-hearth type)
• Roller-hearth furnace

These furnaces are supplied with different temperature ranges for:

• Biscuit firing
• Glaze firing
• Decoration (overglaze/color) firing

The insulation of these furnaces can be carried out using two methods:

• Insulating firebrick lining
• Ceramic fiber lining
