Calcination Furnaces

Calcination is a thermal treatment process in which amorphous materials or other solid substances are heated below their melting point under air atmosphere or a controlled atmosphere.

The calcination of mineral materials in furnaces can be carried out using two methods:

  • Chamber furnaces (using saggers)
  • Continuous furnaces (rotary kilns)

The Arvand Engineering Company is capable of supplying calcination furnaces with operating temperatures up to 1600 °C.
